The Anchorage Holiday Park is a 4 star AAA rated caravan park, situated in Iluka, a sleepy fishing village on the northern shore of the Clarence River where visitors can easily experience a World Heritage listed rainforest, National Parks, ocean and river beaches, fishing – encompassing river, rock and deep-sea and all manner of water-based recreation.

The Anchorage Holiday Park embraces its surroundings to promote its relaxed and friendly atmosphere, offering guests a chance to enjoy our beautiful and unique location. The park nestles along the foreshore of the northern arm of The Clarence, near the southern perimeter of Bundjalung National Park. This affords easy access to the river, spectacular views and great fishing.

The park has 116 tourist sites including powered caravan sites, grassy camp sites and 17 cabins – ranging from standard ensuite cabins through to luxury two bedroom spa cabins.

All cabins have bathrooms, kitchenette or full kitchen facilities, colour TV and full bedding provided for the master bed. Additional luxuries such as reverse cycle air conditioning, DVD and CD players feature in the larger cabins. Cabins are designed for low impact on the environment, are non-smoking and all are enhanced by individual gardens. One cabin provides wheelchair access and has an interior modified to suit visitors with a disability.

We recognize that some visitors holiday with their pets. To facilitate this, we allow well-behaved pets on sites and 2 of our cabins are designated Pet-Friendly Cabins.

A large resort-style in-ground pool has been recently completed. The pool is heated and also boasts a 10 person heated spa. A playground for the children’s entertainment is adjacent and pedal trikes are available for hire from Reception.

This NSW Caravan Park does not have the physical size of some larger parks; however we take pride in our friendly and professional service. We take great pains to personalise our service, ensuring our guests feel welcome.

Our guests are our most valuable assets, with customer service of utmost importance at The Anchorage. Upon check-in, each customer is personally shown to their accommodation by one of our staff. This enables us to assist in directing their caravan on-site, explain use of appliances and features in cabins and give any other information about facilities offered.

The township of Iluka offers a range of activities such as golf, bowls, tennis, surfing, fishing and bird watching. A ferry trip across to Yamba is a great way to spend the day and there are museums, art galleries and much more, all within an hour’s drive. Although, the peace of Iluka may just convince you to relax and…do nothing!
